Long time, no blog
So I've been neglecting my precious blog for far too long. I've been taking pictures for it, but no updates have been happening. Its been a busy couple of months, and it will only get busier. Lincoln is growing up and he & girl cat are pretty much BFFs.
****EDIT: Darin has informed me that Lincoln & Girl Cat are, infact, NOT BFFs.
Speaking of Lincoln, we had to 'boo' him this afternoon because he threw cards all over our couch! He is either trying to learn a game so he can participate on game night or learning magic. Either way, he made a mess! and we had to boo him.
I've also been working on my personal site and I'm really excited about it now. I used textpattern to build it, and once you get the hang of it, its sooooo easy and fun. Totally customizeable and it uses CSS so its easy to figure out.

Wedding planning is going really well. I have a HUGE list of things I have to do, people I have to call, etc. But I'm really excited about it, and have lots of energy to plan. Here are the save the dates & holiday card we sent out (this project made me fall in love with stamps!):

Our new baby!
He is 11 weeks old. Very playful and loves to lick your face clean. Girl Cat isnt impressed, shes a little afraid of him, but I think she will learn to love him.

Sketches!
So, I found some type sketches from a while back. Finding these has definately encouraged me to some more explorations. 
Muffins & Games
Last night, Darin and I started game night up again! I think it was a great first game night. We played Balderdash (one of my favorites), and Darin made muffins. They were sooooo good. Brent & I decorated them. 
YUM!
I'm excited for the next game night. I want to use this chess board that my mom & dad gave me. Its made out of marble! I want to play it, but I left all the pieces back at 431, so I'll have to go pick them up today. Today is the day I take all of my crap at 431, and carry it to the curb. I'm kind of excited! Sometimes it feels good to get rid of crap that you've been carrying around for years. I think I'm just going to throw out the boxes, not even open them. As soon as I open the boxes, I'll want to keep everything in there, and what for? so I can store it in another basement for 2 years?
Anywho, I dont know how to transition into talking about my plants, but I love them and want to take note of them in my blog. :)
Lisa gave me the one on the left, I love it, its so cute and spikey! The other two I bought at Lowes. Darin bought 2 plants too! we have a whole family of plants.
